Nine O’Clock Service (working title) – in Production

A feature documentary for Channel 4 Television and cinema release, Nine O’Clock Service (w.t.) is the powerful story of a progressive youth movement in 1980s/90s Sheffield that used club and dance music culture to take root within the Church of England, before erupting into one of the most high-profile and shocking alleged abuse scandals in the institution’s contemporary history.

Directed by award-winning film-maker Alice Perman (Working With Weinstein, Picasso: The Beauty & The Beast) and Executive Produced by Susannah Price and Henry Singer, the film will be released at the conclusion of criminal proceedings.
